Of the total number of 59,884 registered variants* of medicines (of which 3,263 homeopathics) (as of 1 April, 2012), the following was supplied to the network of healthcare facilities in the 1st quarter of 2012:
- 7,863 variants of medicines (i.e. 13.13 % of the total number of registered variants) (399 homeopathics)
- of which 5,603 variants of supplied medicines has determined payment via health insurance (i.e. 71.26 % of the number of tradable variants of medicines)
*A variant of a medicine shall be understood as a medicine identifiable by a SUKL code allocated separately to every medicine, taking into account the efficacy, size of package and form of the medicine.
