State Institute for Drug Control

The assessment of proposed studies to be conducted in the Czech Republic is performed by the State Institute for Drug Control and by at least one Ethics Committee independently of each other. In their assessment, Ethics Committees focus, in particular, upon the consideration of ethical aspects of the study, the qualification of doctors, and the facilities of the site.
