The State Institute for Drug Control is a member of the Technical Standards Committee (TNK) 81, the operation of which focuses upon the sphere of medical devices. As of January 1 2009, the actual drafting and publication of Czech technical standards is ensured by the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing.
